The first concept recording of DISCOVERING MAGENTA is now available.

We pressed a limited-edition 500 CDs. These are for producers, directors, etc. who have an interest in the show. This first concept recording features the entire score-as of this time-19 selections-including the OVERTURE and the ENTR'ACTE .

We are happy to announce that FOOTLIGHTS is now carrying DISCOVERING MAGENTA exclusivly in New York. DRESS CIRCLE is now carrying the CD as well in London. It is also now available at TOWER RECORDS and through AMAZON,  & CDNOW.

The performers for this recording are

Amy Fradon as Katrina. Amy played Rhetta and Prudie Cupp in the Nat'l Touring Company of PumpBoys and Dinettes. She has CDs on Alcazar and Shanachie Records and is about to release her new CD called Passion Angel. Amy teaches voice and leads workshops on Sound and Healing.

Douglas Farrell as Henry

Vickie Russell as Rose- Vickie is featured on two compilation CDs, one in the New York area entitled "Follow the Rainbow", recorded with the Jimmy Buffett band, and one in Hamburg, Germany entitled "The Consortium Sampler". Vickie has been featured on radio and TV and has just completed her solo CD "As Written". Recently she's opened up for the 10,000 Maniacs, Pete Seeger, Rick Danko (of The Band), Leon Russell, Donovan, and was a finalist for the 1998 Lilith Fair.

Mark Rust as both Cole & Elliot (for this recording) is a performer/songwriter .
